Ouseburn Farm

A place for growing...
The Ouseburn Farm is a green oasis spectacularly situated underneath three bridges in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Farm is managed by a voluntary management committee in partnership with Tyne Housing Association. It aims to provide an integrated setting where vulnerable adults can work with staff and volunteers to develop an urban farm that is widely used by the whole community.

Growing skills and friendships through farm-based training with vulnerable adults and volunteering opportunities for the local community.

Growing minds through school/educational visits and training/volunteering opportunities.

Growing food, including the fruit, vegetables, eggs and meat used in the Farm’s kitchen.

New Streetwise Opera group which is based at the Farm.
