Beavans Re-development

Byker Bridge Housing Association has created thirty self-contained flats within his iconic former department store which we have restored and finished to the highest quality so that we can offer thirty flats to people moving-on from supported housing.

New tenants will need to be nominated by the Council and referred by a supported housing provider. We are offering Providers the opportunity to nominate service users who they feel are ready and able to take up a tenancy with us on Shields road in Byker. Flats are one bedroomed exceeding 30m2. We will be considering couples, there is a lift, communal laundry, but no gardens and no parking.

Work began in August 2008 and completion is expected in winter 2009.
